Department overview
The Brand Solutions function operates inside the Sales and Representation division at Fenway Sports Management. Its role is to strengthen partnership sales by shaping persuasive brand narratives, spotting new activation opportunities, and designing solutions that create value for sponsors while fitting seamlessly with the organization’s premium properties.
Role summary
Fenway Sports Management is seeking a driven coordinator to support the Global Partnerships team across a broad set of brands, properties, and strategic ventures. The scope of work spans golf properties and rights holders, LeBron James’ Marketing & Representation business, Liverpool Football Club, and strategic partners such as Aryna Sabalenka and the Rajasthan Royals.
This position is central to the partnership development workflow. It involves building pitch decks and partnership stories, brainstorming campaigns and marketing platforms, maintaining sales pipelines, tracking inventory, and helping prepare commercial materials. Success in the role requires strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, relationship-building ability, and comfort working in a fast-moving environment.
Compensation and benefits
The annual base pay for this position is between $50,000 and $65,000, depending on relevant experience. The role is also eligible for annual incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Assist sales leads during brand discussions across FSM’s global properties.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure sales narratives and materials are insight-led, story-driven, and aligned with each property’s identity.
- Work with stakeholders across properties to create, route, and secure approval for partnership content.
- Support pipeline upkeep, weekly reporting, and CRM administration.
- Build a strong working knowledge of available property inventory and keep it organized.
- Refresh and maintain sales collateral and go-to-market positioning across the global portfolio.
- Contribute to the development of commercial marketing platforms and additional inventory opportunities.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sport Management, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in brand strategy, activation, or sponsorship sales in a team, league, brand, agency, or corporate environment.
- Strong enthusiasm for sports marketing, media, and sponsorship sales.
- A proactive, creative approach and willingness to challenge conventional thinking.
- Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle several tasks independently in a deadline-driven setting.
- Clear communication and persuasive storytelling skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint; CRM experience is considered an advantage.
- High standards of integrity, both personally and professionally.
- Ability to travel and work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
