Contract Manager

Role overview

The Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing vessel contracts from the start of hire through to off-hire, ensuring every stage aligns with the applicable charter party terms.

Key accountabilities

• Oversee all vessel agreements from the on-hire stage to off-hire, making sure contractual obligations are followed throughout.
• Act as the main contact for the client during the full duration of each charter.
• Assess scopes of work for enquiries and tenders to confirm that both the company and the nominated vessel can meet operational requirements, including vessel capacity, crew capability, and the strength of supporting teams.
• Keep the Commercial team informed about downtime, delays, deviations, and any other issues that could impact the charter party, billing, or the relationship with the client.
• Work closely with the Offshore Director and Commercial team to ensure clients are visited regularly and the business maintains a strong presence across the Energy and Marine community.
