Role overview
This position is part of the Food & Beverage department in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The concierge is expected to assist guests in a warm, attentive, and professional way, while also managing mail, messages, and parcels for guests and team members in line with hotel procedures and service standards to support a high level of guest satisfaction.
Guest service duties
- Respond to guest questions and service requests promptly and courteously, including arranging tours, dining reservations, transportation, directions, and flight confirmations, and redirecting requests to the appropriate team when needed.
- Stay current on hotel services and local information such as attractions, restaurants, transport options, sports facilities, churches, shopping areas, and other places of interest so guest inquiries can be answered accurately.
Mail, luggage, and business center support
- Track, receive, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, messages, and parcels for both present and future guests as well as hotel staff, following hotel rules and procedures.
- On request, place guest luggage in the storage area and handle all bags carefully.
- Sell postage stamps for postcards and letters.
- When the business center is closed, send fax messages on behalf of guests.
Workstation upkeep and additional duties
- Keep the concierge desk clean, organized, and welcoming, and restock brochures, magazines, and city maps for guest use.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
- Be prepared for additional duties and responsibilities to be introduced at any time based on hotel and business needs.
