Key responsibilities

• Review appraisal submissions promptly after they are received from the Collateral Valuation Department.
• Underwrite title documents in a timely manner once they are sent over from Processing.
• Coordinate with the Collateral Valuation Department and processing staff to address file-level questions or issues related to collateral valuation.
• Examine appraisals and any supplemental orders in line with appraisal review procedures.
• Assess appraisal files and supplemental orders according to AnnieMac guidelines.
• Share underwriting decisions with the relevant parties through both spoken and written communication.
• Evaluate appraisal documents for any indicators of fraud or suspicious information.
• Resolve all appraisal- and title-related underwriting conditions before loan closing.
