Key responsibilities

• Build and implement category plans aimed at improving sales, margin, and overall market expansion.
• Review market movements, shopper behavior, and competitor actions to guide category decisions.
• Handle supplier engagement, commercial discussions, and contract finalization.
• Refine the product mix, pricing structure, and promotional approach to support performance.
• Track category results using KPIs and analytical business reporting.
• Work closely with procurement, marketing, sales, and operations teams to align plans.
• Spot opportunities to grow categories and improve business outcomes.
• Maintain inventory levels and product availability in line with company goals.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related discipline.
• Prior hands-on experience in category management, merchandising, procurement, or retail management.
• Strong commercial judgment and analytical thinking.
• Good negotiation ability, clear communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with data analysis, forecasting, and inventory management systems.
• Comfort using Microsoft Excel, ERP software, and reporting tools.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively in a busy, fast-moving environment.
