Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Butler position in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on delivering highly personalized and proactive guest service. The Butler will greet guests, escort them to their accommodations, support check-in and check-out, and handle luggage and amenities with care. The position also includes coordinating in-room dining, managing guest preferences and special requests, working closely with housekeeping and other hotel teams, and making sure rooms and suites are set up to match each guest’s expectations.
Key Duties
The Butler is expected to respond quickly and professionally to guest enquiries, arrange reservations and itineraries, and provide tailored support to VIP and long-stay guests. A strong understanding of the hotel’s facilities and nearby attractions is essential so that guests receive informed, discreet, and efficient assistance throughout their stay.
Qualifications
- Strong guest service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand needs ahead of time and provide discreet, personalized support.
- Very good English communication skills, both spoken and written; knowledge of additional languages is considered a major plus.
- Prior exposure to luxury hospitality, front-of-house service, or butler duties in a 5-star hotel or comparable upscale setting is preferred.
- Strong focus on detail, organization, and time management to manage several guest requests smoothly.
- A polished professional presentation, courteous confidence, and the ability to stay composed when work becomes demanding.
- Comfort using hotel software and basic technology for handling requests, bookings, and guest information.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, based on operational needs.
- Formal hospitality education, butler training, or a diploma in Hospitality Management or a related discipline is an advantage.
