Busser

Role overview

As a Busser at Flanigan's, you will help keep the dining room, bar, and patio areas clean, organized, and ready for guests. This role supports servers, bartenders, and the wider restaurant team by maintaining a polished service environment and handling a variety of cleanup and setup tasks throughout each shift.

Key duties

• Follow all company health, sanitation, and safety standards, along with required training procedures.
• Reset tables promptly so they are ready for incoming guests.
• Help clear used dishes and glassware from guest tables and service areas.
• Remove trash and debris from bar, dining room, and floor areas.
• Keep restrooms, parking areas, patio sections, and waiting areas clean and presentable.
• Make sure high chairs and booster seats are cleaned and sanitary.
• Handle opening, closing, shift transition, and assigned side-work responsibilities.

Work conditions and job requirements

• You must be able to bend, stoop, and reach frequently during the shift.
• The position requires lifting items up to 50 lbs., including placing heavier items on shelves, in coolers, or in freezers.
• Work is performed in a damp, warm environment, mostly indoors with limited outdoor exposure.
• You must complete and pass the Florida Responsible Vendor program in line with company rules and Florida law.
• You must also complete and pass the food safety certification program in line with company rules and Florida law.
• English communication skills are required, including speaking, reading, and writing.
• This role follows a five-day work week.
