Role Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst will turn data into practical insights by creating dashboards, reports, and data models that help teams make better decisions across the organization. This role works closely with stakeholders to define meaningful metrics, improve data quality, and provide visibility into performance.

Key Responsibilities

Examine data from multiple systems, spot patterns, and convert business questions into useful insights that guide decisions.
Create, update, and support dashboards and reports that give timely visibility into performance indicators.
Build scalable data structures and models that support reliable, flexible, and consistent analytics.
Work with internal teams to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting rules that match business objectives.
Check and strengthen data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems so reporting remains dependable.
Partner with teams across the business to deliver analysis, reporting, and recommendations based on data.
Look for ways to automate reporting, improve dashboards, and make data workflows more efficient.

Success Measures

Performance in this role will be evaluated based on how accurate and dependable dashboards and reports are, the strength of the underlying data models and reporting setup, and the business value created through insights that support better decisions.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a similar field, plus 3–6+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or reporting.
An MBA, master’s degree, or professional certifications in analytics, BI tools, or related areas is preferred.
Strong experience analyzing large or complex datasets and designing structured, scalable models for reporting and analytics.
Hands-on experience creating dashboards and reports, such as in Power BI or Salesforce, to track business performance.
Ability to turn business needs into KPIs, metrics, and reporting logic that support decision-making.
Experience maintaining data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems, including finding and fixing data issues.
Ability to collaborate effectively with business, operations, and technology teams to deliver reporting solutions and actionable insights.
