Opportunity

Thryv is seeking a motivated, self-starting Business Advisor for its field sales team across Australia and New Zealand. This is a hands-on role based in the market, not a desk-based position. You will spend your days prospecting, cold calling, networking, and meeting business owners face-to-face to introduce them to Thryv’s all-in-one SaaS platform, designed to help SMBs save time, communicate better, and get paid faster.

This position suits someone who is eager to build a pipeline from scratch, stays persistent through challenges, and can turn initial conversations into lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make daily prospecting calls and generate fresh business opportunities.
  • Visit businesses in person and use networking to develop a strong sales pipeline.
  • Meet owners face-to-face and present tailored Thryv SaaS solutions.
  • Manage the entire sales process from first conversation through closing and handover to onboarding.
  • Consistently work toward and exceed monthly targets for new business sales.
  • Plan and manage your territory with discipline and purpose.
  • Keep pipeline information accurate and provide updates to the Account Director.
  • Stay up to date on Thryv product changes, market competition, and trends affecting SMBs.

What You Bring

Thryv is looking for someone with a proven ability to win new business and the drive to keep pushing forward. Experience in B2B sales is important, ideally gained in SaaS, technology, or field sales environments. You should be confident in cold calling and door-to-door selling, able to sell consultatively, and comfortable working independently in the field.

Success in this role also requires strong organisation, discipline, resilience, and the ability to learn and demonstrate software confidently to business owners.
