About the Internship
Join Skillbotix Edtech Pvt Ltd as a Business Development Intern focused on sales from a remote location based in Bengaluru. This 4-month internship provides hands-on exposure to consultative selling, customer interactions, and converting leads into customers while working with a dynamic team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Contacting pre-qualified leads via outbound calls to generate interest.
- Inviting potential clients to attend webinars and securing their registrations.
- Following up with registered attendees to ensure high webinar participation.
- Engaging with prospects post-webinar to understand their needs, resolve questions, and suggest relevant offerings.
- Closing sales effectively by converting leads into paying customers.
- Building and nurturing positive relationships through every stage of the sales cycle.
- Maintaining detailed records of interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities using CRM tools.
- Meeting or exceeding personal sales and conversion objectives regularly.
- Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to enhance lead conversion rates and overall customer satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree (college students preferred).
- Superior spoken and written English communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills including negotiation and persuasion.
- Self-motivated and confident in engaging with customers over calls.
- Comfortable working in target-driven environments.
- Prior sales or internship experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging from ₹12,000 to ₹18,000 inclusive of a ₹7,000 fixed stipend plus a 10% uncapped commission on each successful sale.

Career Growth Opportunities
Successful interns may receive full-time offers as Sales Executives with an approximate 100% increase in fixed salary, followed by a 3-month probation and a potential 20-25% performance-based salary increment upon confirmation.
Additional Information
- Work location: Remote (from Bengaluru).
- Internship duration: 4 months starting immediately.
- Stipend structure includes fixed pay ₹7,000–10,000 plus incentive pay ₹5,000–8,000 monthly.
- Job offer upon conversion: Annual salary between ₹300,000 and ₹400,000.
