Business Analyst

Role Overview

This position is for a senior business analyst focused on payments, based in Toronto, Ontario in a hybrid arrangement. The assignment is expected to run for 6+ months. Hands-on experience with US wires and Canada Lynx is required, and prior exposure to GPP would be a strong advantage.

• Experience turning broad business needs into precise, testable requirements that can be used effectively by business, technology, compliance, and external partners.
• Background leading delivery from requirements gathering through testing, implementation, and post-release support, with close attention to risk, regulatory needs, and operational readiness.
• Capability to validate test outcomes on intricate payment platforms and confirm accuracy, compliance, and deployment readiness.
• Experience coordinating work across multiple teams, vendors, tools, and environments to keep delivery moving forward.
• Strong ability to spot defects early, investigate root causes, and push issues to resolution quickly.
• Solid understanding of high-value payment systems, message flows, and settlement methods including Canada Lynx, SWIFT, and Fedwire.
• Comfort working in Agile environments, with a product-owner mindset, and using shift-left testing practices and collaboration tools such as Jira, JTMF, and Confluence.
