Role overview

Deutsche Bahn is looking for a bus driver to join the RBO Regionalbus Ostbayern GmbH in Lam and the surrounding area as soon as possible. The position offers day-to-day variety, local assignments close to home, and the responsibility of ensuring passengers travel safely and comfortably. If you are new to driving buses or still unfamiliar with the routes, enough time will be provided for training and onboarding.

What the job involves

• Driving buses safely and on time on local and school transport routes
• Providing passengers with timetable, fare, and transfer information and advice when needed
• Selling and checking tickets
• Checking that the vehicle and its technical systems are ready for service
• Keeping the bus clean and orderly before and after trips

Candidate profile

• Completed vocational training as a professional driver, or a valid bus driving licence in class D or DE
• Valid qualification under the German Professional Driver Qualification Act, shown either by the “95” code in the licence or by a driver qualification certificate
• Good spoken and written German skills
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• A customer-oriented attitude, flexibility, and reliability
