Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Barista position in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The role involves preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages, along with light food items, while following recipe standards and presentation guidelines. The Barista also supports smooth daily operations through customer interaction, equipment handling, cleanliness, and basic transactions.

Key Duties

• Prepare coffee, tea, and other drinks according to set recipes and serving standards.
• Handle light food preparation and support the café’s food service operations.
• Operate coffee-making and related café equipment safely and correctly.
• Keep the counter, workstation, and customer-facing areas clean and organized.
• Manage basic cash handling and order processing tasks.
• Greet guests, answer questions, and provide polite, efficient service.
• Assist with stock checks, replenishing supplies, and related inventory support.
• Support opening and closing routines when required.

Requirements

• Strong guest-service and people skills for handling customer needs professionally.
• Ability to make beverages and light food items consistently and safely.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with teammates and serving customers.
• Commitment to hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety practices.
• Basic arithmetic and confidence using cash registers or POS systems.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving setting.
• Ability to stand for long periods during shifts.
• Previous café or food-and-beverage experience is an advantage, though not mandatory.
