Role overview

A growing FMCG manufacturing business is seeking two finance professionals, one at the Finance Controller level and one at the Assistant Finance Controller level, for its Noida corporate office. The role is centered on strengthening financial performance, supporting commercial decisions, and improving operational efficiency across manufacturing and distribution channels.

The position will involve leadership or hands-on support across finance operations depending on seniority and experience. Key focus areas include reporting, controls, costing, compliance, budgeting, and business partnering with commercial and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage financial reporting, MIS, budgets, and forecasts.
• Oversee manufacturing finance, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and standard costing.
• Manage working capital, cash flow, receivables, and payables.
• Handle commercial finance across General Trade, Modern Trade, and E-Commerce channels.
• Analyze profitability by product, channel, and region.
• Support GST, income tax, statutory compliance, and audit coordination.
• Improve ERP-based controls, automation, and finance processes.
• Work closely with sales, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to drive margin improvement and operational efficiency.

Experience and profile required

This hiring is for both the Finance Controller and Assistant Finance Controller tracks.

Finance Controller: CA with 10 to 15 years of experience in FMCG or consumer goods manufacturing. The candidate should bring deep experience in manufacturing costing, commercial finance, budgeting, compliance, and business partnering, along with the ability to lead finance teams and support strategic initiatives.

Assistant Finance Controller: CA with 5 to 10 years of experience in FMCG or consumer goods manufacturing. The candidate should have solid exposure to financial reporting, costing, compliance, MIS, budgeting, and commercial finance, with experience supporting finance operations in a manufacturing setup.
