Role overview
A global technology consulting firm is looking for an AI Security Expert in Doha, Qatar to help protect and strengthen customer AI environments. The role focuses on evaluating, improving, and governing security across agent-based AI, AI-as-a-Service, and embedded AI solutions. You will also help build threat modeling, incident response, and governance practices tailored to AI technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Review the security posture of AI controls across platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ServiceNow AI, Snowflake AI, and other AI-as-a-Service offerings.
- Lead threat modeling activities specific to AI systems and use cases.
- Create incident detection and response procedures, along with practical security playbooks for AI-related events.
- Design secure AI governance structures and Responsible AI control measures.
- Set security expectations for AI data sets, hosting layers, development workflows, and deployment pipelines.
- Recommend improvements that raise the security maturity and governance quality of AI implementations.
Required background
- Overall experience of more than 8 years in IT, cybersecurity, or security engineering.
- At least 1 to 3 years of hands-on work securing AI-enabled solutions.
- Exposure to agent-based AI, AI-as-a-Service, and embedded AI environments.
- Working knowledge of AI threat modeling approaches and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of secure AI architecture principles and Responsible AI practices.

This position is based in Doha, Qatar and is a full-time onsite role supporting client engagements.
