Role Overview
The Admissions Representative will be a key part of the admissions team, helping attract and enroll students who are looking for a meaningful educational path. This role focuses on guiding prospects through each stage of the admissions journey, sharing program details, and supporting informed enrollment decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the main contact for prospective students and their families, delivering a high level of service during the admissions process.
- Interview candidates by phone and through MS Teams to assess fit and eligibility for available programs.
- Lead engaging in-person campus tours that showcase the campus environment, support services, and program strengths.
- Review applications, transcripts, and supporting documentation to confirm admission eligibility.
- Explain program structure, entry requirements, curriculum, tuition, financial assistance options, and scholarship opportunities.
- Partner with departments such as financial aid and academic advising to keep the admissions experience smooth and coordinated.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospects to answer questions, share additional details, and support enrollment conversion.
- Represent the college at fairs, community events, and high school outreach visits to generate interest and connect with future students.
- Stay current on market trends, competitor offerings, and changes in education policy so student questions can be handled accurately.
What We’re Looking For
- A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
- Two to three years of successful sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect well with people from varied backgrounds.
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively to meet personal and team goals.
- Experience with student recruitment practices, enrollment systems, or CRM tools is an advantage.
- Genuine interest in education and the ability to clearly explain the benefits of the college’s programs.
