Role overview
A major logistics employer, partnering with Hays, is hiring a Night Shift Warehouse Manager for its County Monaghan operation. This role suits a seasoned warehouse leader who can take charge of overnight activity in a busy, high-throughput environment.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of warehouse activity during the night shift and keep operations running smoothly.
- Track and improve output, accuracy, and service delivery against agreed targets.
- Run daily shift briefings and share updates on team and operational performance.
- Manage incoming and outgoing goods, inventory control, and the accuracy of warehouse systems.
- Spot bottlenecks or obstacles in the workflow and remove them to improve efficiency.
- Maintain full compliance with health and safety requirements at all times.
- Work with other teams to resolve delays and operational problems quickly.
- Prepare clear handovers and forward planning information for the next shift.
What you need to bring
- Background in a warehouse supervisory, leadership, or management position.
- Strong ability to lead, support, and motivate teams.
- Experience in a fast-moving logistics, warehousing, or distribution setting.
- Good communication skills and a practical approach to solving problems.
- Solid grasp of warehouse processes and performance indicators.
- Confidence to address underperformance and drive ongoing improvement.
- Well-organised, proactive working style with good workload management.
What’s on offer
- Salary in the range of €55,000 to €60,000.
- Monday to Friday night schedule, approximately 5pm to 2am.
