Role Overview
The Visual Designer will report to the Director, Design in the Product Department and will support both Product Design and Marketing. This role focuses on creating strong visual materials that educate customers, help sales efforts, and strengthen brand identity across multiple white-labeled partner brands.
The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-moving environment, can juggle several requests at once, and consistently delivers polished creative work within tight timeframes.
Responsibilities
- Create customer-facing educational assets that explain product features, benefits, and how to use them clearly.
- Develop sales and customer success materials such as presentations, one-pagers, and related collateral for client-facing teams.
- Design print collateral, including direct mail pieces, debit cards, and other physical marketing items.
- Partner with lifecycle marketing to produce email templates that are visually appealing and aligned with the brand.
- Build and maintain a centralized library of sales and educational assets across multiple white-labeled partner brands, keeping materials organized, current, and easy to access.
- Adapt creative work to match the brand rules of different partners while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with Marketing to understand design needs, content expectations, and deadlines.
- Collaborate with Product Design to keep visual style and brand execution consistent across digital touchpoints and to support product creative needs.
- Handle multiple active projects and requests at once while prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
- Review feedback from stakeholders and revise designs efficiently.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional visual design experience, ideally in a marketing, agency, or in-house setting.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent background.
- Training, majors, or certifications in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related areas are helpful but not mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, plus Figma.
- Hands-on experience designing for both print and digital formats, including email, web, and physical mail.
- Ability to work within multiple brand systems and follow brand standards closely.
- Strong organization and file management skills, including asset library upkeep and version control.
- Capability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality output under pressure.
- Excellent precision in typography, layout, color, and overall visual polish.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfort with receiving feedback and making quick revisions.
- Self-directed mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.

Work Location & Remote Policy
This is a remote role. Remote employees may be based in any of the following states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, and WV. Remote status and location eligibility may change over time, and relocation support is not offered.
Employees who live within a 90-minute radius of the Oak Brook, IL headquarters must follow the in-office guideline of at least 4 days per month from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; one of those days must be a Monday or Friday. This requirement does not apply to support specialist roles.

Compensation
The expected pay range for this role is $73,000 to $80,000 per year. Final compensation may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
Compensation may also include bonus and incentive opportunities.
