Role overview
This is a remote Virtual Sales Specialist opportunity for a candidate based in Germany. The role is posted on behalf of a partner organization, which manages the application review and next stages of the process. In this position, you will help grow consumable medical and dental product lines through consultative selling conducted online and by phone. The focus is on developing durable customer relationships with clinics, distributors, and assigned accounts while spotting opportunities to expand revenue.
You will work in a digital-first commercial setting, using virtual communication to understand customer needs and match them with suitable product solutions. The position blends sales execution, account management, and commercial awareness to support growth across several product groups. You will also work closely with field sales colleagues and internal teams to create a smooth customer experience and deliver strong business results.
Key accountabilities
- Run consultative sales discussions remotely with current customers, prospects, and newly acquired accounts to build demand and increase revenue.
- Handle customer questions, orders, and service-related requests promptly while keeping satisfaction levels high.
- Record customer interactions, opportunity updates, and sales data accurately in CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Assist with targeted campaigns, lead generation efforts, and virtual promotional activities in partnership with field sales teams.
- Spot cross-sell and upsell opportunities across consumables, accessories, and connected product ranges.
- Create and present customized quotes that communicate both the technical and commercial value of the offer.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements in line with customer requirements and company goals.
- Deliver strong post-sale support to build satisfaction and encourage long-term relationships.
- Coordinate with field sales representatives and distributor partners to align account plans and execution.
- Stay current on market movements, competitor actions, and product updates to strengthen customer conversations.
- Support account planning and contribute to the wider sales strategy where needed.
- Maintain precise reporting of sales activity, pipeline status, and customer feedback in CRM systems.
Requirements
- At least 3-5+ years of experience in sales, inside sales, account management, marketing, or a commercial role.
- Experience or training in commercial, dental, medical, or healthcare-related fields is strongly preferred.
- Prior success in virtual, digital, or remote sales environments.
- Comfort handling customer questions, objections, and complaints using a consultative approach.
- Strong interest in technical or medical products, with the ability to understand how they work and where they add value.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills and a strong customer-first mindset.
- Highly organized working style with careful attention to detail and dependable follow-up.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics AX is beneficial.
- Experience with CRM systems, especially Salesforce, is an advantage.
- Ability to juggle multiple accounts and prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Native or near-native Spanish is mandatory; solid English skills are required, and Italian is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal ability to develop and sustain long-term customer relationships.
