Venture Partner

Position Overview

This role is for a Venture Partner who will help source, assess, structure, and support investments in ventures focused on impact and innovation. The position involves working with founders, investors, and external stakeholders to help drive commercial growth while supporting both meaningful outcomes and investment returns.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective investors, share updates on the company’s progress, and help build continued confidence and commitment.
• Design and lead investment syndication efforts, including identifying, coordinating, and working with angel groups, investment funds, and strategic corporate partners.
• Perform investment due diligence by reviewing company materials and other available information to judge the strength of the business opportunity.
• Carry out detailed analysis of the product, technology, and financial plans to support investment decisions.
• Advise founders so they can make sound business choices and steer the company in the right direction.
• Spot potential issues early and help address them before they turn into major problems.
• Maintain communication with current investors to keep them informed and satisfied with the company’s trajectory.
• Negotiate with prospective partners, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders who may want to collaborate with the company.
• Stay connected with other venture partners across firms to exchange insights about opportunities in different sectors and regions.
• Recommend ways to strengthen financial performance through higher sales, lower costs, and new revenue opportunities.
