Descrizione del lavoro
Role overview
This remote contract opportunity is for a Turkish Quality Assurance Lead who will oversee quality control, consistency, and trainer performance across Turkish AI training initiatives. The work is hourly and focused on reviewing Turkish AI-generated content as well as trainer and QA outputs against project rules.
You will deliver clear written feedback, verify that contributors follow the required standards, and assess work for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural fit, meaning preservation, instruction adherence, formatting, and compliance with project rubrics.
The position also involves identifying repeated quality problems, sharing updates with trainers and QAs, assisting with onboarding, keeping documentation current, and helping re-engage contributors who are inactive or inconsistent.
This is a fast-growing AI data services organization that supplies training data to major AI companies and foundation model labs. Your work will help improve Turkish-language AI outputs so they are natural, accurate, culturally appropriate, well documented, and aligned with client expectations.
There is no active project attached to this role at the moment. If you are a fit, you may be contacted first when relevant opportunities become available and may also gain access to future projects through the expert network.
Requirements
Applicants should have strong Turkish and English language ability, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to manage quality workflows in distributed teams.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Turkish, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Native-level or near-native Turkish proficiency, especially in reading and writing.
- Strong English skills for working with guidelines, teams, and feedback in English.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Turkish writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or a similar language-review function.
- Solid command of Turkish grammar, spelling rules, punctuation, vowel harmony, suffix usage, agglutinative structure, tone, register, and cultural context.
- Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and detect issues such as mistranslation, overly literal wording, unnatural phrasing, incorrect suffixes, missing Turkish characters, hallucinated statements, ambiguity, or inconsistent terminology.
- Prior experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred.
- Comfort using remote collaboration and tracking tools such as Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, dashboards, trackers, and project management systems.
- Strong organizational habits and the ability to maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding resources, honeypots, and other QA documentation.
- Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt/response review, or rubric-based LLM quality assessment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review Turkish items on an ongoing basis, catch quality issues, provide direct feedback through messages, and escalate serious or repeated concerns.
- Keep trainers and QAs informed on Discord about guideline changes, project updates, process shifts, and quality expectations.
- Answer questions from trainers and QAs quickly and clearly, especially when they involve Turkish wording, grammar, vowel harmony, suffixes, register, translation accuracy, cultural nuance, terminology, or edge cases.
- Reach out to inactive contributors, encourage them to become active again, track follow-ups, and surface any availability concerns.
- Build and maintain Turkish project documentation such as style guides, trackers, FAQs, quality notes, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
- Plan and lead onboarding or training calls to explain expectations, workflows, rubrics, quality standards, and Turkish-specific writing rules.
- Keep trainers and QAs aligned on Turkish language guidelines and make sure updates are consistently understood as projects change.
- Improve the process by identifying repeated quality gaps, recommending workflow enhancements, and supporting scalable QA systems for Turkish-language work.
