Overview
Stargate Logistics is hiring a truck driver to move goods and materials safely and efficiently while supporting operations across multiple locations.
Language

Education
No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
Experience
Previous experience is considered an asset.
Work Location
This role must be performed at the work site; remote work is not available.
Work Setting
- Work may involve different locations
- Applicants should be prepared to relocate if needed
Responsibilities
- Represent the company professionally while dealing with customers
- Operate in a two-driver team or travel in convoy when required
- Load and unload freight
- Drive straight trucks or articulated trucks to move goods and materials
- Check the vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, refrigerated systems, and related equipment
- Handle payments for goods and collect payments when necessary
- Adjust brakes as needed
- Complete inspections before departure, during the trip, and after the trip, while monitoring all vehicle-related duties
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks
- Share updates and instructions with central dispatch
- Track cargo details, driving hours, distance covered, and fuel usage
- Secure cargo properly, including tarping and maintaining safety and security
Credentials
The role requires an AZ class licence, an Air Brakes Endorsement, and a Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A).
Trucking and Equipment Experience
- Dry bulk transport
- Flatbed equipment
- Tractor-trailer operation
Communication Systems Experience
- Use of GPS and other navigation tools
- Use of trip recorders and onboard computers

- International routes
