Role overview
The Trade Marketing Coordinator helps keep the marketing function organized, responsive, and on schedule. This role acts as a central link between teams by sharing priorities, following up on milestones, and making sure creative and marketing materials are delivered within budget and timeline expectations. The coordinator also supports the day-to-day retail needs of the broader marketing team.
This is a flexible position designed to adapt as team priorities evolve.
Core responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to plan and support daily digital requirements for key retail partners across the Americas.
- Coordinate the distribution of creative assets and toolkit packages to retailers for core assortment support and new product introductions.
- Keep internal retailer-specific marketing calendars current, including exposure plans and activation schedules for the full year.
- Track recurring monthly digital retail tasks such as milestone communication, task updates, product and asset monitoring, and project status reporting.
- With direction from senior leadership, prepare and submit creative requests to the Creative and Visual Merchandising teams for retailer needs such as paid advertising, web banners, in-store fixtures, and field team materials.
- Organize and maintain retailer social media requests.
- Oversee the delivery of PDP assets for new product launches by retailer.
- Review retailer websites for mismatches in SKUs and/or creative assets.
- Support updates to pricing trackers.
- Monitor launch activity and consumer feedback tied to retail campaigns.
- Research competitor activity across retailer websites and social platforms to identify launch patterns, market trends, and innovation.
- Assist with translation requests needed for visual merchandising creative assets.
- Contribute to content shoot briefs with a retail-oriented perspective.
- Provide general marketing administrative support as needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or e-commerce.
- Experience in the beauty industry is strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- Well-developed organization and time management skills.
- A detail-focused, proactive approach to work.
- Solid working knowledge of MS Office.
- Familiarity with Google Drive, SharePoint, Canva, and Figma is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Asana or similar project management software.
- Ability and willingness to work onsite in the Mar Vista office as needed.
- Must be based in Los Angeles County.
Compensation and benefits
This position offers a competitive package that includes full benefits and a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. The starting pay range for this role in the selected city is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour. Actual pay may differ outside this range depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base salary is only one component of the overall compensation package. The role is also eligible for a bonus.
