About the Role

Willowtree Planning works on turning development ideas and strategic concepts into practical outcomes. The business combines technical expertise with a collaborative, quality-driven approach and is now growing its team in North Sydney, where it is hiring a Town Planner.

What You’ll Do

In this position, you will help manage planning projects end to end, coordinate with sub-consultants, and provide advice on planning due diligence, approvals pathways, and strategy. You will also prepare key planning documents and support high-quality submissions.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will share the company’s values of teamwork, quality, ambition, and integrity. You should hold a qualification in town planning or a related field and have 2 to 5 years of experience. A strong understanding of NSW planning legislation, including recent updates, is important, along with proven ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate written material.

Core Document Experience

Experience in drafting Statements of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements, and Planning Proposal documents is required. Strong attention to detail and confidence in preparing reports, advice, and submissions are essential.
