Key duties

• Deliver prompt, polite service that reflects the company’s guest-first service approach.
• Cook menu items using standard recipes or direction from a supervisor so quality and consistency are maintained.
• Store, rotate, and label ingredients correctly to preserve freshness and meet food-safety expectations.
• Check kitchen tools and refrigeration equipment for cleanliness and proper working condition.
• Keep the work area orderly and sanitary throughout the shift, including general cleaning tasks as needed.
• Support the chef with food preparation, menu execution, and correct product placement.
• Follow all relevant gaming regulations, internal controls, company policies and procedures, Title 31 requirements, and applicable federal rules when they apply.
• Provide timely, professional service to guests and coworkers in line with service standards.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

The company is looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience cooking in a busy, high-volume, or fast-moving kitchen. Strong knife handling and safe use of kitchen equipment are important, along with the ability to take direction and complete work accurately under pressure. Good communication and teamwork are also expected. The workplace emphasizes respect, inclusion, and safety.

Mandatory criteria

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
• Must obtain and keep any work cards required by the employer.
• Must be able to confirm authorization to work in the United States.
• Food Handlers Card is required.

Physical demands

• Regularly push or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly lift or carry up to 50 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest height.
• Frequent squatting, kneeling, reaching, bending, and twisting are part of the job.
• Frequent standing and walking are required.
• Ability to communicate face-to-face, and by radio and telephone, is necessary.
• Must be able to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds in person.
• Ability to tell apart shades of color is required.
• Must be able to use tools and equipment that require strong dexterity.
