Role summary
This position is for an energetic and goal-oriented Talent Acquisition Executive who will help bring in strong talent for corporate, technical, operational, and specialist roles. The role is a good fit for someone who wants hands-on exposure to executive search, talent mapping, and hiring at professional through mid-to-senior levels.
You will work across the full recruitment cycle, from finding and engaging candidates to assessing suitability and supporting hiring decisions. The role also involves developing talent networks, maintaining candidate relationships, and helping meet urgent and critical hiring needs through proactive sourcing.
Key responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end hiring activities for allocated vacancies across corporate, technical, operational, and specialist job families.
- Find suitable candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, direct outreach, and market mapping approaches.
- Screen applicants, hold qualification discussions, and run competency-based evaluations to judge fit against role needs.
- Create and keep updated talent pipelines for immediate and future hiring demand.
- Assist with hiring for professional, specialist, and management roles using focused sourcing and executive search methods.
- Identify, connect with, and engage passive candidates for difficult-to-fill and business-critical roles.
- Build productive relationships with senior professionals, industry contacts, passive talent groups, and leadership-level candidates.
- Use networking, market engagement, and relationship management to grow and sustain talent communities.
- Work with hiring managers to clarify hiring needs, workforce plans, and candidate expectations.
- Arrange interview stages and help guide hiring decisions through structured assessments and recommendations.
- Share market trends, talent insights, and competitor information to inform recruitment planning.
- Deliver a smooth, professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Keep recruitment trackers, candidate records, and hiring reports accurate and up to date.
- Support employer branding, sourcing campaigns, and candidate engagement initiatives.
- Use recruitment systems, sourcing tools, AI-enabled solutions, and talent intelligence platforms to improve hiring effectiveness.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a similar discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, executive search, or talent sourcing.
- Prior exposure to hiring for professional, specialist, executive, or management-level roles is preferred.
- Practical experience in direct sourcing, headhunting, market mapping, talent pipeline building, and candidate engagement.
- Strong ability to identify and attract candidates through various sourcing channels.
- Good understanding of executive search, talent mapping, and market research techniques.
- Strong communication, networking, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to evaluate candidates against technical, behavioural, and business requirements.
- Confidence in building credibility and maintaining professional relationships with candidates at different seniority levels.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage several vacancies at the same time.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and recruitment systems.
- Ambitious, proactive, resilient, and eager to grow a long-term career in talent acquisition.
- Professional and mature when dealing with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Driven by results and motivated to achieve successful hiring outcomes.
