Position Overview

This role sits within LVMH’s Perfumes & Cosmetics division, a business shaped by long-standing iconic lines and the launch of new creations. The division is guided by a commitment to excellence, innovation, creativity, and strong brand identity across a highly competitive global market. It brings together major houses such as Parfums Christian Dior, Parfums Givenchy, Acqua di Parma, and Guerlain, along with newer growth brands including Kenzo Parfums, Fresh, and Make Up For Ever.

The Supply Planning Manager will join the North America team of LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics, part of the LVMH Group, and will be responsible for improving supply planning processes, protecting product availability, and keeping costs under control.

Role Summary

In this position, you will work across functions and geographies, partnering with French production teams, US warehouse operations, and local brand sales and marketing teams to support the smooth supply of both core products and new launches. The role requires a strong focus on inventory quality, proactive issue prevention, and actions that reduce financial risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage supply planning activities and continuously optimize inventory levels to support high service expectations.
  • Build and share performance reporting for management, headquarters supply teams, and local brand partners in areas such as marketing, sales, and finance, including OTIF, service level fulfillment, presence rate, and cuts.
  • Investigate the root causes of supply issues and put preventive measures in place to strengthen ongoing performance.
  • Review the air-versus-sea shipment balance and work to reduce air freight usage, environmental impact, and cost.
  • Run weekly replenishment through DRP and coordinate recurring weekly and monthly routines with local and headquarters teams, including S&OP.
  • Support the execution of new product launches by converting allocation and forecast plans into practical supply actions.
  • Identify possible delays early, escalate risks to central and local leadership, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate closely with supply chain stakeholders to maintain visibility and activate the right levers for successful launch execution.
  • Monitor consumption during launch months M1 to M3 and challenge forecast assumptions with the Forecaster Manager when needed.
  • Lead novelty project coordination with local and central stakeholders to ensure proper execution.
  • Track launch-related KPIs such as on-time delivery, consumption, and air/sea shipment ratio.
  • Protect inventory health by managing excess stock, DOI/DOC, and unneeded inventory while reducing obsolescence risk.
  • Oversee the destruction process for short-term obsolete stock, suggest alternative uses where possible, and monitor destruction lists carefully.
  • Lead monthly stock reviews, prepare inventory projections, and report risks and opportunities to Finance to help manage P&L impact.
