About the role
Starbucks is looking for a Supplier Relations Advisor focused on Facilities to help strengthen operational performance across its retail support network. In this position, you will contribute to a workplace culture built on connection, service, and continuous improvement while supporting outsourced service providers that help deliver a consistent Starbucks experience.
You will oversee supplier performance for key soft and hard services, including MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and pest control, with a focus on meeting service level agreements and key performance indicators. The role calls for close collaboration across teams, data-driven decision-making, and an eye for improving processes that support growth.
What you will do
- Guide and document the full supplier lifecycle, including qualification, contracting, onboarding, and performance review, while tracking key milestones for business partners.
- Set up and reinforce contractual expectations with major service providers, partnering with cross-functional teams when additional support is needed.
- Build productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners to keep delivery aligned with business priorities and service expectations.
- Collect, organize, and interpret data to support decisions, prepare ad-hoc reports and progress updates, and contribute to better reporting systems.
- Lead projects and continuous improvement efforts that expand vendor performance capabilities, improve scope, and help prevent service issues before they escalate.
- Create and implement performance improvement plans to close gaps, while handling escalations and vendor questions as needed.
What we are looking for
- At least 5 years of experience in vendor performance and contract management.
- High school diploma, GED, US military service, or equivalent practical experience.
- Working understanding of how vendor data influences procurement and payment processes.
- Ability to work independently with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Supply Chain or Sourcing is considered an advantage.
