About the Role
Wall Steel is looking for a skilled Structural Steel Estimator to join our expanding team in New Ross, Co. Wexford. This is a full-time, permanent position with the potential for hybrid working after an initial onboarding period. The role involves creating precise cost estimates and tender proposals for diverse structural steel projects, collaborating closely with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate cost estimates for structural steel projects.
- Prepare and submit competitive tender proposals.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and internal project teams.
- Analyze project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure all estimates are thorough and competitive.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in structural steel estimating.
- Proficiency in interpreting structural and architectural drawings.
- Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing tender submissions.
