Role overview
An excellent opportunity is available for a dedicated Staff Nurse to join a specialist dialysis clinic in the Surbiton, Surrey area. The role sits within one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers and offers the chance to work in modern clinics equipped with advanced technology.
Role requirements
Applicants must hold Registered Nurse status and have an active NMC Pin to be eligible for consideration.
What you will do
- Provide personalised nursing care with a strong focus on the patient experience.
- Support, guide and mentor colleagues where needed.
- Carry out haemodialysis treatment safely and in accordance with the prescribed care plan.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues, as well as external partners and hospital trusts.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, service users and providers.
- Follow organisational procedures, policies and clinical guidelines, and help with their application and review.
- Keep building the knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver excellent patient care.
- Promote evidence-based practice and contribute to evaluating evidence that can improve services and outcomes.
Preferred experience and qualities
- Prior experience in renal nursing would be an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are important.
- Good understanding of current issues in professional nursing is desirable.
- You should be comfortable adapting to changing work situations.
- Strong people skills, a friendly approach, flexibility and a positive manner are valued.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential.
Pay and benefits
The salary for this permanent full-time post is GBP 32,100 to GBP 37,950 per year, depending on experience. The position is based on day shifts from Monday to Saturday.
