About the Role

Glossier is seeking a creative, community-focused social media professional to help shape and execute distinctive social strategy and campaigns. This role supports the social team and reports to the Senior Social Media Manager. The position is focused on growing audience engagement across owned channels to build brand awareness and deepen advocacy.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the day-to-day management of social channels, including content planning, calendar upkeep, caption writing, and performance reporting.
  • Help execute social strategy for brand launches in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Track social trends and platform innovations to keep the brand relevant and ahead of the curve.
  • Set channel-specific goals and measure results against those goals.
  • Contribute ideas and concepts for always-on content and campaign moments.
  • Plan and coordinate cross-channel content to support strong engagement and experimentation.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to identify opportunities to feature content across owned social channels.
  • Create light ad hoc content for TikTok, Instagram Stories, and Instagram when needed.
  • Prepare basic reporting on content performance and channel activity.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy online community by encouraging interaction, monitoring sentiment, and responding to relevant comments and feedback.
  • Build and manage cross-channel calendars and ownership of social workstreams.

Role Expectations

In the first 6 months, the role is expected to contribute ideas for always-on content and campaigns, support execution across channels, collaborate with teams on social opportunities, create occasional content, provide basic reporting, and keep pace with emerging trends.

By 12 months, the expectation is to help build an active insights dashboard, strengthen and maintain the brand’s online community through meaningful engagement and sentiment tracking, and fully own cross-channel calendar management and social workstreams.
