Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Hamilton, Ontario for a Site Supervisor/Labourer. The role combines supervision and hands-on construction support. You will coordinate daily site activity, keep work moving safely and efficiently, and also assist with labour duties such as moving materials and operating equipment when required.

Key Duties

• Oversee construction work on site and make sure tasks are completed safely and effectively.
• Enforce safety procedures and ensure workers follow required protocols.
• Plan and organize daily work schedules and assign tasks to team members.
• Keep the job site clean, orderly, and ready for ongoing work.
• Support construction operations through manual labour and practical site assistance.
• Handle materials and assist with equipment use as needed.

Qualifications

• Background in site supervision, construction management, or team coordination.
• Working knowledge of construction safety requirements and site practices.
• Experience with general construction tasks, equipment operation, and material handling.
• Good organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to understand and work from blueprints and construction drawings.
• Basic familiarity with building codes and relevant regulations.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, and institutional construction is considered an advantage.

Additional Information

This position is in Hamilton, Ontario and requires working on-site. The role is full-time.
