About the Opportunity
This role is for a Shopify specialist working with Mercor, a company that connects strong creative and technical professionals with AI research organizations. The company is based in San Francisco and is backed by investors such as Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.
Role Overview
The position involves improving Shopify stores, building custom solutions with Shopify's agent, and supporting clients with tailored ecommerce implementations.
Core Work
- Review Shopify storefronts and make performance improvements that strengthen the customer journey.
- Develop and deploy custom Shopify-based solutions aligned with client needs.
- Partner with clients to gather requirements and translate them into practical store enhancements.
- Maintain and improve existing Shopify configurations through continued support.
- Handle work independently and on an asynchronous schedule while meeting agreed deadlines.
Required Experience
- Hands-on experience with Shopify's agent is mandatory.
Compensation
The pay range for this contract role is $50 to $70 per hour.
