Role Summary
This full-time, on-site role in the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area combines shipping coordination with project coordination support. The position covers day-to-day shipping and receiving, preparation of paperwork for domestic and international freight, and close coordination with carriers and suppliers to help ensure deliveries stay on schedule. It also involves maintaining inventory data, organizing warehouse supplies, supporting export-related logistics, and delivering responsive service to producers and partners.
In addition, the role supports project scheduling and order tracking, works with internal teams to handle issues, and helps improve overall operational performance.
Project Coordination Support
- Monitor incoming customer emails and log them in monday.com for tracking and analysis.
- After projects are finished, update the relevant records in monday.com with the completed information.
Qualifications
- Background in shipping and receiving, including freight coordination and preparation of shipping paperwork.
- Working knowledge of inventory control methods and the ability to keep stock records accurate.
- Comfortable operating a forklift and handling materials safely in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with export workflows, compliance requirements, and shipping documentation.
- Strong customer service capability when dealing with producers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Well-developed organization, prioritization, and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to work on-site in the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area and function well in a small-team environment.
- Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and shipping or inventory systems; experience in construction, manufacturing, or logistics would be an advantage.
