Role Overview

This position is for a Service Advisor within the Aftersales team in the UAE. The role serves as the main link between customers and the workshop, with responsibility for delivering a professional, clear, and efficient service journey. The job contributes directly to customer satisfaction, service revenue, and smooth workshop coordination by identifying customer needs accurately, organizing repair work, and helping ensure vehicles are returned on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers quickly and gather a clear understanding of their vehicle service needs.
  • Document customer issues accurately and create detailed job cards for the workshop.
  • Prepare repair and maintenance quotations, explain the scope of work, and communicate expected timelines.
  • Liaise with technicians and workshop staff to track progress and support timely job completion.
  • Keep customers updated on vehicle status, additional repair requirements, and any possible delays.
  • Secure approvals for extra repairs and make sure all records and paperwork are completed correctly.
  • Return vehicles to customers, walk them through completed work and invoice details, and manage the handover process.
  • Contribute to service and sales revenue goals by promoting relevant value-added services.
  • Address customer complaints in a professional manner while maintaining strong satisfaction levels.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of overall experience in an automobile dealership setting, including at least 3 years working as a Service Advisor in a service department.
  • Solid understanding of automotive service procedures and dealership workflows.
  • Careful attention to detail when preparing estimates, repair orders, and service-related documents.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP or dealer management systems.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong spoken communication and the confidence to deal directly with customers.
  • A service-first mindset, along with honesty, accountability, and cultural awareness.
  • Team-oriented attitude with a focus on ownership and customer care.
  • Results-driven approach with attention to service quality, turnaround time, and revenue opportunities.
