Role overview
Uber Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Senior Operations and Logistics Manager in San Francisco, California for a full-time position. The role sits at the intersection of safety operations, analytics, and cross-functional program leadership, with an option to telecommute.
Compensation and benefits
The annual pay range for this role is $129,000 to $157,000. In addition to base pay, the role is eligible for Uber’s bonus program and may include other forms of compensation. The employee will also have access to a range of benefits.
What you will do
- Lead high-impact safety initiatives aimed at reducing the frequency and severity of road crashes and related fatalities.
- Build deep expertise in the key safety challenges affecting Uber’s Mobility and Delivery businesses, along with the actions available to address them.
- Create and refine policies for handling reports of concerning behavior and for launching proactive efforts to lower safety incident rates.
- Analyze complex data sets using advanced data tools and machine learning methods to uncover trends and patterns in driver behavior linked to road safety.
- Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, Safety Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams to deliver safety outcomes.
- Track the impact of policy changes and safety programs, using analysis and reporting to guide ongoing improvements.
Candidate profile
The employer will consider applicants with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Safety, Operations, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline, plus 3 years of experience in the offered role or another business-related position.
