Senior Manager - Strategy & Planning

Role overview

The Senior Manager of Strategy & Planning will help shape the long-term direction and planning approach for Qiddiya Investment Company. The role is central to supporting the delivery of Qiddiya’s ambition to become a leading destination for entertainment and culture. It requires close coordination across teams, strong strategic thinking, and the ability to convert business goals into practical plans.

Key responsibilities

• Build and implement strategic plans across several business units so they stay aligned with wider corporate objectives.
• Carry out detailed market studies, competitor reviews, and industry comparisons to guide strategy development.
• Work with stakeholders from different departments to turn strategic priorities into clear operational actions.
• Track key performance indicators, assess progress against strategic targets, and suggest course corrections where needed.
• Develop and deliver reports, business cases, and presentations for senior leaders and other key stakeholders.
• Lead improvement initiatives that strengthen the strategy planning process and overall outcomes.
• Assist with change management activities linked to strategic initiatives.
• Oversee, coach, and support team members within the strategy and planning team.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Finance, or a related discipline is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 8 to 12 years of relevant background in strategy development, corporate planning, or management consulting.
• Hands-on experience with strategy design and implementation in large organizations or complex projects.
• Strong ability to analyze data, think critically, and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Leadership experience, especially in managing cross-functional teams.
• Comfort using strategic planning tools and related software.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with competing priorities.
