You’ll be joining a search effort on behalf of a globally recognized ICT infrastructure and smart devices leader that delivers end-to-end, multi-scenario products and services for carriers, enterprises, governments, and consumers across the world.

Role overview

The position sits within the Foundational Large Model Department, where language and multimodal models are central to advancing AI capabilities. The team’s view is that data sets the upper bound of model intelligence, and the focus is moving from knowledge-centric systems to task-centric systems through better data quality scaling, structured data construction, and effective data usage.

What you will do

• Take ownership of research breakthroughs in AI data science and engineering, particularly in areas such as data synthesis, system development, and curriculum design, with the goal of delivering top-tier industry outcomes.
• Build and strengthen the team’s capability pipeline by identifying and developing high-potential talent and ensuring ongoing growth that translates into business value.
• Work with leading research partners, keep track of new developments and trends in AI data science and large models, and help produce core patents and proprietary technical approaches.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience leading research-focused teams, setting business goals, coordinating resources, and improving talent development processes.
• Strong track record of directing major technical research in large models and data engineering, with the ability to turn research outcomes into scalable products.
• Evidence of meaningful research contributions that have improved product competitiveness, services, or solutions.
• Practical experience with large-model data building, assessment, and validation, along with a solid grasp of data needs for training, fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning.
• Preferred background in multimodal data, cross-functional collaboration, and working through complex enterprise programs and organizational environments.
