About the role
This position sits within the Product Team and focuses on creating forward-thinking, commercially strong products and services for secondary schools across Australia. The work needs to align with the broader business plan while supporting growth in sales and market reach.
What you'll do
- Plan and build a portfolio of educational offerings for Years 7 to 12, covering both print and digital formats.
- Help shape the direction of the Secondary Education product team and use AI tools to lift efficiency, output, and quality.
- Stay closely engaged with the education market through classroom visits, testing prototypes, and attending conferences and webinars.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams and outside partners to help develop and promote key products and services.
- Partner with Product and Data coordinators so publishing administration is handled smoothly and on time.
About you
You bring experience in learning design, especially in digital learning solutions that respond to customer needs and improve teaching and learning outcomes. You also understand educational publishing or a similar environment, including digital-first workflows and the use of AI. Strong communication, organisation, project management, and stakeholder skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Requirements
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Secondary Education, or comparable industry experience.
- Background in learning design with a focus on digital learning solutions.
- Experience in educational publishing or a related field, including digital-first approaches and AI integration.
- Good knowledge of the Australian education market and how digital technologies improve product design and learning outcomes.
- Advanced use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work both on your own and as part of a team.
- Desirable: qualification in Publishing and Editing and/or Learning Design.
