Role Overview
This position is for a Senior Estimator to support the Fire Suppression division across the UK. The role involves working on projects ranging from £200k to £30m, with responsibility for designing and pricing advanced fire protection systems for data centres, industrial facilities, and commercial environments.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to shape compliant and commercially viable solutions.
- Develop outline designs using AutoCAD.
- Carry out hydraulic calculations in FireCad, with training provided where needed.
- Prepare detailed tenders covering scope, technical specifications, and pricing.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the bid process.
- Ensure solutions align with relevant standards, including LPCB, NFPA, FM, and BSEN12845.
- Help drive project wins by supporting the Sales team.
- Step in as deputy to the Lead Estimator when required.
What You Need
- Background in sprinkler installation, design, or estimating.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Understanding of LPCB, NFPA, FM, or BS12845 requirements.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to develop further.
- Clear communication and presentation abilities.
