The Role

In this contract Senior Artworker role, you will lead the technical production, formatting, and brand consistency work for a major Contracts of Insurance programme. This is a practical, high-volume position focused on updating more than 600 long-form documents, including policy wordings and interactive forms, with a strong emphasis on precision and consistency across several brand portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the rollout of document updates by formatting, revising, and aligning the branding of 600+ multi-page, content-heavy insurance files.
• Develop and apply advanced nested paragraph, character, and object styles in Adobe InDesign to keep layouts consistent across different brands and document types.
• Create, refresh, and improve interactive PDF forms in Adobe Acrobat so they are practical and easy to use.
• Work closely with the project team, legal and compliance contacts, and brand stakeholders to deliver accurate outputs within deadlines.
• Carry out detailed quality checks, maintain version control, track text changes, and prevent layout inconsistencies or formatting errors across large documents.

Requirements

• You should have solid commercial experience as a Senior Artworker, ideally with a history of delivering large-scale, text-heavy document updates under pressure.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat is essential, along with a deep understanding of typography and typesetting.
• You need proven capability with complex InDesign style sheets and the ability to apply branding and formatting consistently and efficiently across dense documents.
• The role calls for someone who is highly organised, fast, accurate, able to work independently, and comfortable managing a large volume of assets with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, corporate banking, or a design/publishing environment handling financial reports, prospectuses, or large magazines would be an advantage.
