Role Overview

This position is for an experienced Senior Contracts/Commercial Manager to join a construction organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role carries responsibility for the full commercial and contractual oversight of construction projects under positive contract arrangements. You will safeguard the company’s commercial position while maintaining productive relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. The role calls for sharp commercial judgment, strong analytical ability, and careful attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, examine, and negotiate construction contracts, including contractual terms, conditions, and commercial clauses.
  • Assess contract documents to understand commercial impact and uncover possible risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee the entire contract process, from tendering through project delivery and final closeout.
  • Confirm that all agreements align with Saudi regulations, applicable local laws, and internal policies.

  • Solid grasp of contract law, compliance requirements, and risk control principles.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex commercial terms and secure favorable outcomes through negotiation.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Comfort using contract management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong planning and time-management capabilities, with the ability to handle several contracts at once.
  • Highly analytical with strong accuracy and close attention to detail.
  • Experience in international or multicultural project settings.
  • Knowledge of Saudi regulations and local business customs is preferred.
