About the role
This permanent Scheduler position is based in Henderson, Western Australia, and sits within a team that develops and maintains Integrated Project Master Schedules. The role supports scheduling, earned value, and project control reporting for External Maintenance Availabilities (EMA), Defect Rectification Periods (DRP), and Maintenance Window Opportunities (MWO).
The work contributes directly to Babcock’s contracts for the total asset management of Anzac Class frigates through to the end of their service life.
What you will do
- Create, maintain, and continuously improve the Integrated Project Master Schedule for the business.
- Track schedule performance, review variances, and support the management of timing impacts.
- Identify and assess quantitative schedule risk.
- Prepare scheduling, earned value, and project controls reports.
- Work collaboratively with the team and other stakeholders to support project delivery.
About you
You should bring strong problem-solving ability, solid analytical thinking, and the capacity to work effectively in a team. High standards of ethics and integrity are important, along with clear communication and interpersonal skills.
The role calls for prior experience in a comparable scheduler or planner role, along with intermediate to advanced capability in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel. A practical understanding of earned value analysis, critical path method, and related reporting is also required.
Eligibility and compliance
Applicants must either already hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Australian Defence Security Clearance at the appropriate level for the role. A valid Construction Induction Card (White Card) is also required.
