Role Overview

The Sales Manager is responsible for acquiring and engaging single-outlet independent restaurants within an assigned city. In this role, you act as the main contact for restaurant partners, learn how their businesses operate, understand their challenges, and build partnerships that help improve orders, visibility, and customer engagement. The position is highly consultative and field-based, and it is suited to someone who is adaptable, resourceful, and motivated by partner success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined territory and develop strong working relationships with the restaurant partners in that area.
  • Carry out field visits, product demonstrations, and ROI discussions to explain how Swiggy can create value for restaurant partners.
  • Use a consultative sales approach by asking about current sales channels, delivery operations, marketing spend, and business objectives, then tailoring Swiggy’s offering as a solution.
  • Handle the complete monthly relationship cycle, including pitching, negotiation, onboarding or activation, and continuous support.

  • Maintain strong working knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and WSP for city and central tracker management.

  • Complete around 80 to 90 in-person meetings with restaurant partners every month.
