Room Attendant

Role Overview

The Room Attendant role is centered on maintaining guest rooms and shared hotel spaces to the property’s housekeeping standards. This position requires regular interaction with guests and close coordination with the housekeeping team to keep operations running smoothly. Success in the role depends on strong teamwork, consistent follow-through on daily tasks, and a service-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Service assigned rooms or areas in line with established housekeeping procedures and standards.
• Prepare guest rooms to the required hotel standard before guest arrival.
• Clean and maintain public and other common areas throughout the hotel.
• Carry out laundry-related tasks when needed.
• Replenish, organize, and maintain housekeeping supply areas.
• Deliver attentive customer service throughout the shift.
• Respond to guest questions and service requests as needed.
• Notify management about any room or property damage that needs attention.
• Submit all lost-and-found items to the Housekeeping Manager.
