Balenciaga was created by Spanish designer Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1917 and later established in Paris in 1937. The house became known for reshaping modern couture through major innovations in shape and technique. Role overview

As a Retail Intern, you will support the retail function through administrative and operational coordination. The role sits in a fast-moving environment where new ideas and adaptability are valued. You will help keep communication flowing between internal teams, stores, and external partners while ensuring reports, planning, and retail processes run smoothly.

Key contribution areas

• Prepare daily and weekly reports and distribute them across the retail network.
• Compile and circulate weekly and monthly performance updates.
• Assist with target-setting activities, including development, consolidation, and communication.
• Support retail travel bookings and coordinate hotel arrangements and travel plans within budget for meetings, store conferences, and other retail events.
• Handle onboarding coordination for new joiners, including arranging meetings with relevant support functions.
• Assist the marketing team with VIC gifting processes, including client selection with stores, ordering gifts and personalized cards, and making sure deliveries arrive on time.
• Take part in building, rolling out, and reviewing retail challenges designed to improve store performance through key KPIs.
• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of store reports.
• Gather and consolidate monthly store orders.
• Help maintain effective communication and information sharing between stores and HQ departments based on current business needs.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate is practical, organized, and comfortable working as part of a team. You should be proactive, solutions-oriented, and confident handling multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication, planning ability, and advanced use of Microsoft Office—especially Excel—are important. English fluency is required, and German is considered an advantage.
