Seed Heritage is hiring an Assistant Manager for its Cairns store as the brand continues to expand its retail presence. In this position, you will partner with the Store Manager to help steer the team, strengthen engagement, and foster a strong performance-led culture. You will also contribute to delivering a refined customer experience through knowledgeable selling, strong product understanding, and relationship building.

Key duties

• Help shape a customer-first environment that delivers a smooth and memorable experience at every touchpoint.
• Work alongside the Store Manager to develop, coach, and inspire the team through training, mentoring, and close collaboration.
• Partner with store leadership to support a productive and commercially successful store.
• Drive the team toward sales goals and core business performance measures.
• Contribute to store operations by overseeing rosters and handling back-of-house administrative tasks.
• Follow a Sunday to Thursday roster.

• Previous success in a leadership or supervisory role within a busy, high-volume fashion retail environment.
• The ability to guide, encourage, and develop a team toward strong results.
• Commercial awareness with the capability to meet or exceed targets related to sales, wages, and shrinkage while staying within budget.
• A strong eye for detail, with genuine interest in styling and visual merchandising.
• Experience handling substantial stock levels and stock control processes.
• Alignment with Seed Heritage’s values and a real interest in contributing to the brand.
• The ability to build lasting customer relationships through excellent service.

Working pattern

This role operates on a Sunday to Thursday roster.
