Role overview

This full-time, non-management hospitality role is based in West Bay, Zone 61, Doha, Qatar. The position sits within the Food and Beverage & Culinary category and is not remote.

What you will do

• Welcome arriving guests, confirm party size, and arrange seating appropriately.
• Escort guests to tables, ensure chairs and place settings are ready, and provide menus in good condition.
• Support the flow of guests across dining areas and assist with special seating needs when required.
• Keep tables, chairs, and seating arrangements organized and adapt the setup for group or special-need seating.
• Check that all table settings are complete, including napkins, clean silverware, and any other standard items.
• Review menus regularly to make sure they are current, tidy, available in sufficient quantity, and free of wrinkles.
• Maintain a clean workspace throughout the shift by following clean-as-you-go practices.
• Track dining room seating availability, guest safety, service flow, and overall guest comfort.
• Follow company policies, safety rules, security procedures, and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management promptly.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and protect confidential information and company property.
• Greet every guest in line with company standards and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Answer phone calls using proper etiquette and work cooperatively with teammates to meet shared goals.
• Respond appropriately to concerns from other employees and uphold quality standards.
• Carry out additional reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Experience and education

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. No previous related work experience is required, and no supervisory experience is needed. No license or certification is necessary.
