Role overview
This contract opportunity is centered on strengthening the online visibility of a boutique hotel in Portugal’s Braga area. The main goal is to design focused marketing activity that attracts guests attending local events and celebrations, while presenting the property as an appealing stay option for visitors.
The work calls for a proactive, performance-oriented approach in a fast-moving environment. A strong emphasis is placed on META platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram, with creative campaigns built around the hotel’s character, event-driven demand, and closeness to popular venues.
Key deliverables
- Plan and run complete social media campaigns suited to the hospitality and events space.
- Prepare, schedule, and post audience-friendly content on META channels, including Facebook and Instagram.
- Draft persuasive advertisement copy and refine ads to improve reach and results.
- Track campaign performance, interpret the data, and share reports that show progress in engagement and bookings.
- Work with hotel leadership to keep content aligned with the brand image and seasonal offers.
- Regularly create content that showcases the hotel’s distinct features, guest experience, and convenience for event attendees.
Required experience and abilities
- Background in managing social media for hospitality, travel, or event-led businesses.
- Strong command of META tools, including Facebook and Instagram advertising and analytics.
- Ability to write clear, convincing copy for ads and social posts.
- Proven track record of improving reach, engagement, and lead outcomes.
- Comfort with content calendars, scheduling software, and light image or video editing.
- Good communication skills and a careful eye for detail.
- Willingness to work remotely with flexible timing, ideally from Portugal or with familiarity with the local market.
