Role Overview
This freelance opportunity is focused on refining the packaging identity for a new consumer cleaning brand preparing to launch in the US market. You will take the existing brand direction and early mockups from the founders and turn them into polished, shelf-ready packaging for the hero product. The work suits a designer who enjoys consumer brands, fast-paced startup settings, and the chance to contribute to a project that may extend into ongoing collaboration as the business grows.
What You’ll Do
- Improve and polish the current packaging concepts and mockups for a consumer packaged goods cleaning product.
- Strengthen the typography, layout, and visual structure so the packaging has strong shelf presence.
- Create final production-ready artwork and files for printing and label manufacturing.
- Make sure the artwork is technically suitable for bottle packaging and larger-scale production.
- Work with the founders to review feedback and keep the design aligned with the intended brand direction.
- Advise on materials, finishes, and print specifications whenever needed.
Required Background
- Demonstrated packaging design experience for consumer brands, ideally within CPG or cleaning products.
- A portfolio that includes print, label, or packaging work.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Good knowledge of print production workflows and how to prepare final files correctly.
- Strong sense of typography, color usage, and layout composition.
- Ability to work quickly and deliver within tight timelines.
- Clear communication style and willingness to incorporate feedback.
- Availability to begin right away, with the possibility of more work later.
